So i found out i can access my ps4 hdd easily and notice the hard disk is replaceable and so i hook up my samsung evo 840 to it. Notice that system runs a little faster too. But there's a problem. The ssd is 1tb but when i go under storage setting, it says 460gb? It working fine and everything but i'm worried about the numbers. Is it just a simple hardware glitch ? Or should i put back the stock hdd in there? * +

I cannot say for sure, but I think you found the limit of a console compared to a PC. For some reason, your PS4 has something like BIOS with a limit on how much storage in a hard drive it can use.
What's worse, I figure that Sony would ban your PSN account if you jailbreaked your PS4. (Crying) * +

Read on some other sites and some people do have this problem as well but storage will still be according to whatever hdd size i installed. Would be fix in the upcoming patches. * +
