I used an app called sixaxis for my android phone, to get it working after installing I pressed the psn circle button and let it flash and then connect it via cable then press pair on sixaxis app and that should do it.
Can't remember the rest, there might have been something else. * +

It's really complicated to do it but you have to take a screen shot of your game in control settings then map the buttons, go to preferences then touch emulation then edit profiles then double touch for menu then edit background and bring up your screen shot then add buttons and place them where you want and save profile and also goto gamepad settings and enable gamepad then that should be it I think, told you it was complicated.
