I believe the first Rainbow 6 game (besides PC) was on the PS1, N64 and DreamCast... 1999-ish.
The first Rainbow 6 game to hit the Xbox, was Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield... In 2003. (nod)
They weren't too great to begin with, then they somewhat improved and hit the downward spiral of becoming generic releases, such as the Medal of Honor and Call of Duty titles. * +
