Saber tooth tigers I think and other animals from 10,0000 BC, shame it wasn't earlier though as could have had some dinosaurs.

They did a survey recently if people wanted dinosaurs so maybe the next one will have them.
Not sure humans were around then, not in our form anyway so it would be hard to know what species the hero would be. * +
