Well, aliens are but the evil is a bloke called Adam Hale, his father was an EDF captain killed by alec mason during the revolution of 2125 and is eager for a little payback, so he destroys the one thing keeping the planet habital. Talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face, or in my case, a massively oversized chin (rumour pending) * +

Shotguns? What like guns that fire shots? Oh you must be the brains, thats right, guns that fire shots but in addition to shotguns there is the standard Maul or 'big hammer'. Dual wield Pistols, a55 ault rifles, rocket launcher and plenty more to keep even the most trigger happy person in a steel of violence * +

They sound pretty sub standard, anything else? Ok then how about a magnet gun. Fire one shot at an alien for example and another at a steel support beam and watch the two engage in everlasting mash intercourse. Also try the nano rifle which disintegrates most materials and a singularity cannon which creates a tasty black hole (not the kind you're thinking) * +

What else? A plasma beam, plasma cannon, pluse grenade, charge launcher, rail driver, banshees to ensure more destruction but now you are armed with the nano forge which allows you to repair structures like bridges, cover and more * +

Guerilla had vehicles, what's this got? Well so far i've seen a number of walkers (think aliens) but no tanks or cars, altho not really needed in this game as its linear. Scanning the instructions it appears you have exoskeletons, walkers and even flyers * +

Online mode? Well, guerilla had a deathmatch style multiplayer and pa55 the pad destruction games. This time they've followed the fashion and introduced a survival mode for up to four people at the expense of a multiplayer * +
