It seems Amazon jumped the gun with Sony's suspected God of War reveal by publishing the game's product page a day early. God of War: Ascension for PlayStation 3 seems to be a prequel to the original trilogy, before Kratos became the Ghost of Sparta. Not much else is known about the story, however. The listing notes, Join Kratos as he seeks freedom, redemption, and the clarity to avenge his family in the most ambitious God of War adventure in the series so far. * +

god of war 3 had a cliff hanger ending, yes kratos sacrifices his self.......... but after the credits end and it cuts back, he has disappeared........ so id expect a gow 4.......... on the ps4 :-D * +
