recently in the last hour i have not been able to sign into the ipod store, i can view the store but cannot sign into it. it says the network connection timed out?? yet internet is connected and works fine! when i run the itunes store diagnostic it says secure link toi tunes store failed, please can someone help? this is doing my nut in!!!!! *

I had the exact same problem for a week! Called apple they didnt know anything about it! Yesterday i synced my iphone and all went normal again! If i try to do this without the iphone plugged in it wont work. Try plugging your ipod and see if it works! *
