Hi just come across this and thought i'dshare it with you..... The Dev Team has already found a new exploit that they can use to jailbreak new iPhone 3GS hardware without the need for a tethered boot. Well inevitably see that new exploit in use in future versions of PwnageTool. Can't wait * +

I think ipt2 and ipt3 can be done using blackrain but again it's a tethered jailbreak bro * +

Seems an untethered jailbreak could be with us in two weeks time, just come across this comment on musclenerds (from the dev team) Twitter. @iphoneht1234 that's great...refurb 3GS seems to be the way to go for at least a few more weeks I'd estimate, to avoid tethered 12:41 AM Nov 20th * +
