Basically yep, obviously slimmer as no phone emmiter etc, but wayyyy better than iPod as can use to text email download apps when in wifi :) * +

Nope, it's same as iPhone bar the telephone bit, mates got one, I think not v well explained on adds wat it is/does, as long as in wifi hot spot or ur wifi at home, sit n use net as normal, download apps/games etc from iTunes, do ur emails etc music vids etc n if find right app, use wifi to send texts:) n half depth of iPhone so nice n light n v cool looking ;) * +

Yeh it's good u can pick 1 up 4 a lot less than an iPhone and not pay a contract. * +

Yea, it's almost the sameas iPhone, just without the fone feature. I got both iPod touch3gen and iphone3g.. Playin games on iptouch is more fun than the iPhone maybe bcuz of the trimmed down version * +

Even though it sounds the same but in practicality iPhone is much better than the iTouch. Simply because you need a smartphone to be able to do things on the go and with iTouch u can't do that. What's the point of being able to access Internet on a mobile device when u r at home? Might as well use your laptop or pc for that. ? * +
