I never have any problems regarding reception, software 3.1.3 apparantly fixes some reception issues if you want to update but it's not jailbreakable yet * +

Try resetting network settings mate, it's under general the network, also, turn phone off one aday as will relog it onto network and may help :) * +

I thought network, too. Put sim in Leo and then Blackberry and get 4-5 bars on them. I updated to 3.1.3 already. Will try reset in a few minutes. * +

Did all of that and still no joy. Apparently thats a fairly common problem with the GS. :( * +
