Your out of luck then I'm afraid, there's no jailbreak for 3GS on stock 3.1.3 with new bootroom. You'll just have to sit it out for now, something will be along soon. For benefits of jailbreaking search the forum, there's loads of topics * +

Jailbreaking slowed my 3G to a crawl. I had to restore just so it would be useable. I thought it was my imagination until I googled it. I just don't see the need. I get my apps from the app store and I'm a happy gal. * +
