Ok so am I right in thinking that os4 can't be jail broken ? My modem firmware is 05.13.04 or is their a custom firmware activated that I can put over 04 ??? This is my young bros account so I'm new here just have to reg so hey everyone I'm Steve * +

Hi, Steve. Welcome and nice to meet you. iOS 4 CAN be jailbroken on your 3G. That said, I don't recommend it because it made my 3G almost unusably slow. I just didn't like it being soooooo slow. * +

hi witch1 oh really ok i think il stick with 4 for now it just seems 4 is quite slow it maybe my phone im not sure ,.... can i downgrade to 3.1.3 maybe sorry im new to all this .oh il reply with my own user name stevenc34 when i can post in forums .. thank you for your help and time * +

It is not a problem and you are welcome to inbox any questions I may can help with. Downgrading isn't an option for you, I'm afraid. Its not your phone-3G's are all somewhat slow, but, much speedier than some other smartphones. * +
