B4 connecting ur phone, go to music library in iTunes. Now delete the songs u don't want in ur phone. Now plug in ur phone and sync deleting music in iPhone tab. The songs u deleted from iTunes library will be deleted from ur phone n the rest will remain. * +

Plug your iPhone into your computer, click the music tab and choose which songs you want.. Or go to the library and untick the songs you want.. *
