Well now you could be in luck, I came across a post on BigBosses blog stating it maybe possible to downgrade from 4.0.2 to 4.0.1 WITHOUT SHSH BLOBS. I haven't tried it so can't confirm it works but you have nothing to lose if your stuck on 4.0.2 without your blobs, please report your findings here if it works/doesn't work. I don't need to try it @dani, can't hurt though for those stuck on 4.0.2 with no SHSH blobs. It seems it's 50/50 though with some people getting it to work and others not being able to * +
