For me, its 4 for sure. Better hardware, much better camera and video, retina display is amazing. * +

No brainer, same as asking, should I buy an xbox that's been out for 2yrs or new wifi slim for same money? Ip4 all the way, 3g/s would be a backward move. * +

Much does depend on your personal financial situation. If you can afford the iP4, get it. If not, the 3GS is still veryyyy nice. * +
