Well u can...but yes it's tricky as I've to unplug the digitizer band plus the LCD bands that r very fragile nd easely cut-able by mistake. Plus the battery is glued on the back...it's not made of any hard material so u can b sure to damege it if u unglue it from the cover...althought it will still work...ud loose around 20 of it's capacity in the best of cases... So I wouldn't advise the disase * +
