No Apple have closed that exploit, I'd be surprised if we saw another userland jailbreak again. * +

Well in possibly some days (or weeks) greenp0ison will be out. It uses the SHAtter exploit to patch the bootrom on new iPhone 3gs, iPod 4 nd iPhone 4 so they will be permanently owned without apple having the possibility to patch it without another hardware upgrade. That's great news and surelly worth the wait. Althought the debs didn't specified if it will b tethered or untethered jailbreak it * +

Will probably b tethered in the first time then get an untethered version later. In the meantime Musclenerd from iPhone dev team made 2 demo videos of an iPod 4 and apple tv being jailbraked using the SHAtter exploit, Wichita means the public release is not far away...my guess for an eta would be just after gets the final 4.2 update public...just to avoid too early leaks as it happened just before * +

The 3.1.1 fw release that had as consequence apple patching the fw and hardware on newly made iPhone 3gs and after models. The cat and mouse game goes on more nd more interesting everyday :p *
