Well if u never jailbraked it then u need to use pwnage tool from dev team or snowbreeze to jailbreak and activate it, now to unlock...as it's a 3g it can be done but it's a little tricky as it depends on your.bootloader version, if you have an early 3g then u can downgrade the baseband with fuzzyband 5.14 from cydia...if u have the 5.9 bootloader (most likely the case) then I've to wait for an up * +
