yes you will need cydia and theres a app that lets you teather your internet and share it with other wifi compatable handsets think the app is called My3G * +

No it is MyWi, which lets you set up your phone as a wifi hotspot or use it as a modem via USB. I Was using that up until last month, but a cydia app called TetherMe came out, if you just wanna use USB get that, cos all it does is unlock the proper way to tehther, and it works well. Both are pay for apps, but tetherme has a cracked version, mywi also has one cracked but that is old and not reliabl * +
