processor speed just isn't very important on a closed system to be honest vans as the software can be optimised so much more rather than having to develop for a range of devices, hence why the iphone is so good * +

your missing the point, my preference has nowt to do with this. A closed system can be heavily optimised and use every ounce of power (even if it is less) as opposed so op systems like android or windows * +

power isn't everything, original xbox was more powerful than the ps2, was that more popular? no. all out power does not make any computer a success, its the software. after many a debate in the games forum, surely you can see that? ios is clever, the hardware desirable, built to a set standards mean the software devs know there wares will be compatible for period x. thats why theres so many apps * +

etc. android is catching up sure, and will level the playing field or indeed overtake ios, but typically the software on ios will tend to run better as it has less operating overheads etc. its just the way it is fella *
