I just bought my son an iPod touch. It's 4.1 (8b118) where as my iPhone and iPod are 4.1 (8b117) is this why limerain won't jailbreak it? * +

I think 8b117 is the GM build where as 8b118 is the official Apple release, limera1n should still jailbreak both though. What's happening when you try to run the jailbreak? * +

It goes thru it all ok but the limerain symbol doesn't show up n no limerain app when rebooted * +

Have you got the latest version of iTunes and are you sure it's going into DFU mode and not recovery??? * +
