Should first try contacting your operator. O2 unlocked mine free of charge an all in did was ask them to do it on their forum. It's now permanently unlocked. *

I've just had mine unlocked.. I purchased an unlock from eBay in the end.. Costly but it was quick and I didn't have to do anything other than pay x *
