If I email a photo to my iphone and then add it to my library to resend or upload elsewhere, does the iphone resize/compress it when it is received via email and does it regurgitate the image as a 5mpxl image or will the image remain in the original size and pixel taken - although it won't show the full pixel on iphone until unless it is emailed/uploaded elsewhere? * +

I just emailed a 5.8Mb, 4000x3000px photo to my iPod Touch (I assume iPhone will have the same results,) saved to my iPod, then sent it to my email (chose 'actual size,') downloaded on pc and it's still 5.8Mb and 4000x3000. If that isn't what you were asking, just ignore me, lol. * +

dani2 Exactly, what I am asking, many thanks. I recall there was some woooa harrr last year with images in photo being compressed or something so I was worried it was going to squash it small and then when I upload it somewhere the quality would be cr*p. Thanks for solving that for me. * +

It depends on the quality u choose while sending the pics but it depends on the network as well. Sometimes the network automatically compresses pictures if they r over a certain size. * +

It's on Vodafone and I upload direct from my laptop. Does Vodafone compress? *
