try going to control panel n under connectivity setting or hardware settings, check if the iphone drivers been install. If that dnt work uninstall itunes completely from ur laptop n reinstall it, might help * +

I'm still struggling with this problem when connected to my laptop shows charging for a few seconds then shows charging error message. Same when connected directly to mains. What could the issue be please? Have removed iTunes already no joy * +
