On Thursday night and used the wife's 3GS to track it's movements via the placetrac app and noticed that my phone was on the move about my local town....from one end to the other....didn't take me long to figure out that it must have fell out my pocket as i got out the taxi earlier that night.Phoned up the taxi company to tell them my tale and low and behold my beloved phone was able to be * +

A lesson for others i believe to sign up at Google and run these background apps......I was indeed very very lucky as was it also a very very happy ending,to quote a local saying from where I'm from .... I'm as happy as Larry,couldn't be happier.... * +

Who's Larry??? I use find my iPhone which sounds good on paper but if I lose my iPhone and somebody finds it they can disable it in the settings or turn the phone off or put it in airplane mode and then I can't find it * +
