ok i have my iphone 3g back from the shops after repai im planning to give to a friend of mine as i now have iphone 4, weird this is i forgot the pass and the phone is now disabled... not only that but plugging it into laptop dont work the computer fails to make the dongle sound, ive tried boting into DFU but it dont work ive tried diff leads that dont work still no dongle sound... any help plz? *

if anything, seeing i have the box and everything for it.. if i cant do much would it be worth taking it to apple? only i cant be bothered to send it back in again as ive been waiting near 6 weeks to get this phone repaired. it charges on the wall socket but it just wont get recognized by pc at all *
