now i've heard of it and know that its basically a hackin tool so dont have to pay for apps but what are the cons? I really dont wanna fk up my ipad and ipod if i install it! Any advice on this subject would be greatly appreciated as it seems alot of ppl are using it :-/ *

Jailbreaking isn't to get free apps, it's much more than that. It allows you to customize your iDevice how you want it and to free it from Apples restrictions, if you don't know what your doing though I'd suggest reading up on it first. It's simple to do, just download a jailbreak tool ie Redsn0w and follow the instructions *
