What's the difference between tethered and untethered? I really like my customsettings on jb 4.0.1 but want to move to ios5 but how long does it take for jb to come out?? * +

Nobody knows how long an untethered jailbreak will be released after iOS 5, could be a week, could be a month, could be longer. A tethered jailbreak means you cannot boot without connecting it to a computer. Untethered means the jailbreak is independent of a computer, and it can boot all by itself *
