Jail breaking may not be the problem, now I understand all software or apps might have bugs but at least the ones in the app store is apple approved they may not all work well or live up to expectations but at least I haven't heard of one that effects your phone, now my question is with all the unauthorized apps who actually checks them to make sure they are in this case apple compatible? * +

Most of them are apps that Apple knocked back approval for them to be on the AppStore, the devs test them and will also have BETA testers. I always read the description before downloading off Cydia as alot of them are not iOS 5 compatible, it's down to user errors more times than not when they install things that aren't compatible and then go on to blame it on the jailbreak * +
