If you expect Appetite, Or even Use your Illusion You'll be disappointed. Its a whole new sound and sounds nothing like previous efforts. It has its fair share of good moments but it also has some bad ones. In my honest opinion its an average hard rock album! If you a big GNR fan, buy it. If you not, don't buy it. * +

some interesting instrument arrangements. Axls voice grates at times, probably due to him not being able to hit the high notes like he could 10 years ago, but a worthwhile listen * +

I have to admit that axl sounds a bit like Bon Jovi at times... My dad heard a track playing and he said 'is that bon jovi?' he sounds similar on the ballads more than the heavier tracks. *
