scalloped fretboard. well, i've tried this scalloped guitar, played with neck pick up with low tone, and i've shocked that my speed up to twice 
but this is not recommended way to speed up your fingers, unfortunately after i played this, my fingers become LAZY! so, once more i'll say MAB is faster than that dumb yngwie *

guitarists like brent mason, steve morse, david gilmour are way better.. petrucci is good he uses speed only when needed... *
