kay, today i got a cheap gold top les paul knockoff, sounds good for its price and all the circuitry works well, but i want to install some quality pickups in it.im thinking a seymour duncan 59 zebra for the bridge and an emg81 for the neck. will these be compatible with cheap guitar circuitry? cheers * +

and if the emgs an active pickup no doubt that means routing a cavity for the 9v * +
