Thrash, Death, Black, Gothic, Power, Folk, Industrial, blah blah all sound completely different and do require genre. For instance Im not really into power metal but love folk metal. Marduk sounds nothing like Megadeth. However the whole sub sub sub genre thing goes a little bit far, and musical elitists take things beyond stupid such as ''Oh I only listen to symphonic blackend death metal but hate death metal. Fvckin hipsters * +
