Emo originated in the mid-1980s hardc*re punk movement of Washington, D.C. where it was known as emotional hardc*re or Emoc0re. I think Emo is truly not known by people, and Everytime people say Emo. People think of Scene kids. It's a misguided Genre. nod * +
