Now don't look at my age it wouldn't reflect my song choices. They call me retro but it doesn't matter. My favourite of 'em all vocalists is Karen Carpenter of the 70's. With her contraalto voice, perfect pitch and tone she shown the world what singing is without any circus like vocal techniques. * +

Say, when I woke up this morning I queued some of the songs from their Christmas Portrait album and it was just so relaxing as I was eating my breakfast.
True her vocals effortless, gorgeous and amazing! How rare are singers like her, can't find a melodious, enchanting, haunting and melancholic voice like hers nowadays. * +

(ohyeah) When I exercise, I play her unreleased tracks which are upbeat and disco type. Call me retro or what but it sure is best vocals still together with the song like My Body Keeps Changing My Mind. *
