Maybe such a thing has existed for ages, but if so WHY DIDN'T SOMEBODY TELL ME? *laughs* If you don't have access to a PC to extract a .cab file from an .exe this little beauty will do it for you easily and simply :) Download here: http://www.fileupyours.com/files/103945/CutTheCab.rar (28kb) Open the .rar and click on the .exe within; ignore the usual warning about it * +

interfering with causality and destroying the universe and it'll list all the executable files on your device, click on the one you want to extract the .cab from, wait a couple of seconds then tap the close ('x' icon) at the top right and the .cab will be extracted to the same folder as the original .exe. You can then install the .cab as normal. * +

PLEASE NOTE: I've tested this on my Touch Dual and it worked like a dream with Realore's Bubble Xmas - I've yet to test it with other PC executables, so obviously all the usual 'at your own risk' gubbins, but all feedback would be useful. Massive respect to our Russian friends at Smartu for this one.

Ok, I've just tried another one, map24 mobile, and got the result 'no expected resource found 1814' 
so it's not going to work on everything by the looks :( Still, it DOES work on some files so it's a useful thing to have on board, but perhaps not the catchall solution I was hoping for. * +
