my sound has totally stopped .even tried with handsfree. What i wanna know is should i bother hard reset? coz if its hardware prob i dont wanto to waste time reinstallin all apps * +

It certainly sounds likely to be a hardware problem, but you should certainly try a hard reset before taking it for repair. Use the superb SPB Backup to backup everything first, it only takes about 2 mins to backup and around 12 to restore. i assume you've tried restarting without a storage card inserted? * +

I uninstalled throttlelauncher,throttlelock,srs wow 5mcc. now it works * +

It was SRS WOW that disabled all your sound drivers. If you had checked other forums like xda and ppc geeks you would have seen a lot of people have compatibility issues with it. * +

There are different versions available for different operating systems such as smartphone, WM 6.0 and WM 6.1 and they are not interchangeable, they are OS specific even the some still get issues with it!!! * +

Yep, srs was the culprit,I uninstalled these coz all were recent * +
