i remember this elderly Calabrian guy here just about beheaded his wife cos she started doing tafe courses or something.. he was ashamed because she wasn't staying at home being a good domestic slave.

The guy that got hit was a mob lawyer. Amongst other things he had done, he had apparently left his wife for another woman, which is a massive nono for the 'Ndrangheta. You are allowed to cheat on your missus, even kill her if she disrespects you, but you never leave your wife.(dont) * +

One of Italy's most wanted mafia bosses, Ernesto Fazzalari, 46, a leading figure in the 'Ndrangheta, has been captured in the southern region of Calabria after having been on the run for 20yrs, fleeing a life sentence for murder in 1996. He did not put up any resistance to his arrest, as he was found asleep in bed with a female companion.
Fazzalari was second only to Matteo Messina Denaro, a suspected leader of the Sicilian Cosa Nostra, on Italy's most wanted list. Denaro remains at large.

Seems the 'Ndrangheta may have had a hand in the downfall of welsh football club Bangor City.
