I know this is a very touchy subject for all on this site. What are your views on this. We also have to remember that seeking asylum is actually a basic human right. currently we are having problems with people on boats entering Australia this way. I hope we can keep this topic as peaceful as possible * +

it's not a touchy subject for everyone on this site.Personally I feel we should help those who need help, especially if these refugees are from countries we have invaded. * +

Australia has one of the most stringent laws regarding Asylum seeking.. be glad of it. * +

The rules need to be a lot tougher, to much money is wasted on them, they are also only supposed to take refuge in the first country they arrive so in theory we shouldn't have any here. * +

I sometimes work near the immigration holding centre, it's basically a prison, another waste of money, if they don't pass the requirements to stay put them on the first plane out of here. * +

If they've come from France we should kick them back to France, they really are a waste of taxpayers money keeping them here, they are useless, can barely speak English and don't even work. * +
