I've decided I want to take up cycling. Ive really got into this keep fit malarky now what with the long walks but now I want to go further. I know nothing about bikes and so I'm sure there's some knowledgable people in general that might be able to tell me what to look for. * +

carrera should do you fine as a substitute.... I've got a bike you can ride it if you like. Its got a basket a bell that rings and things to make it look good.. * +

wear shoulder pads like Dallas and Dynasty stars, that way cars and lorries may give you a bit extra space * +

I don't wear any safety things, i just get on and ride off, it's great really unless your chain comes off like my chain did and i had to walk and push. * +
