You notice a lot of the time when walking by people in the street, they spit on the floor. What conclusion do you come to?

1- They have something against you and spitting is some sort of passive aggressive sign of dislike.

2- They fear you and spitting is a way of appearing thuggish, therefor giving you the impression they have nothing to lose and as a result, you will not bother them.

3- A lot of people have something distasteful in their mouths.

4- A lot of people are pigs * +

Yes, people do it a lot. I suppose it depends where you are, but people definitely do spit in the street here. I know in certain countries such as China it is illegal and can be punishable by fines because of the risk of spreading hepatitis(?)

Bugs me when im walking past some slob and then they start spitting. * +
