so am doing this topic for my mate who has delivered a baby girl 4 weeks ago. but she is arguing with her hubby about ideal age to get baby girls ear pierced. so please share at what age girls should have their ear pierced? should parents wait for their own permission? 5 yrs? 6 yrs? * +

mine were done as a baby. I pierced them 4 more times. I don't know seems wrong to me to do it on a baby. but I just happened to like pierced ears. * +

Had my daughters done at 7 as she asked for them to be done. She freaked out after they done the first ear and wouldn't let them near her lol. I had to take her out shop and go back half hour later once she had calmed down, but she was brave and had other ear done. Now she has few and even lobe done * +

Piercing ears is not dangerous but waiting for her consent sounds like a good idea. I for one I like little girls with earrings in their ears. * +
