All those years that police were arresting base jumpers.. did nobody ever think: 'A whole s**tload of parachutes on the roof level of a skyscraper might actually be very handy?'

I guess so, but I meant more a conventional looking boat that sits on the surface and just doesn't ever sink.. using the force of the waves against itself or exploiting water tension somehow. * +

That's a good suggestion. Because we knew twin towers were gonna get blown. We were just waiting for it to happen and deliberately didn't think about parachutes.

I think they need to start putting some on top of the Burj Khalifa just to take precautionary measures. * +
