Recently I lost a friend who betrayed me.. I am pretty gutted about that. I promised myself I would cut ties with anyone negative in my life.. Do you forgive easily? Perhaps there are some particular things you wont forgive, or no one has ever wronged you enough to have to forgive them in the first place? How do you decide? * +

Yes. I rarely have to forgive a second time, though. There are too many other people in the world to spend my time on undeserved perseverance. * +

I used to be far to soft n forgave easily.. Drained the life out of me tbh gettin takin for granted etc.. They don't like the word No.. Tough! Only one pal has ever betrayed me n we've not spoke for years.. I was shocked n disappointed n same as u I was gutted.. Broke all ties n still think about her often.. She was a secondary school friend.. Our kids grew up together n r now adults with their own kids n so r hers.. Shame it went that way our grand kids r similar ages * +

That's difficult, when kids relationships are affected. Like cousins who don't meet because their parents never got on.

Have to stick to your own standards and expectations for who and what you accept into life though.I shall persevere in spite of being a bit sad about it. * +
