i used to be terrified of thunder and lightning and other things but now im starting to reverse them slowly by exposure therapy and im starting to see a difference i want to thank my friends and family for there help the last 31 years but now im ready to fight my fears on my own * +

Good for you! It sounds like an interesting concept to deal with your fears. I should probably try that with some of my fears. I'm sure it works as long as you do it right. I have SO many. Can't think of a lot right now. Relationships is one, though. * +

Fear is a friend, it's a natural defence mechanism, once you've learnt to work with it controlling it is easy. Do not fight it or it'll fk you up. * +

Cognitive behavioural therapy helps some people to confront their fears. It doesn't work for everyone though, not at all.

A bit of Common sense outweighs therapy every time, n its free from the cradle to the grave. Ya can't go wrong wearing a pair of rubber's. Its a fact that if ya stuck by a bolt outer the blue. That ya ave more chance of surviving a lightning strike. Cause the charge goes straight through ya body into the ground. With very little or no injury whatsoever. Whereas if ya aye wearing a pair of rubber's then ya fkd big time. Think ya self lucky, ya weren't born like that unfortunate man cont * +
