I'm a bit upset by my friend's message. Lately, I had been kinda stressed/frustrated about getting my review and research papers published, so I shared the whole matter with this close friend because I needed somewhere to vent. He has helped me a few times previously. He comforted me, and was like 'I'm here for you' yadda yadda, and helped me find a publishing house who were willing to publish my papers. But they were charging me 5K for each publication which was very expensive, and there were some copyright complications too. So I thought it was best to talk to my guide teacher first, and wait for his green flag before I could proceed to make any further communication with them or make any payments.

Last night, I watched the model show and told him what happened in that episode. Because when I'm stressed or depressed, I watch the s**t out of Drag Race and my fave shows. It helps me take my mind off of stress/negativity.

He replied, but he backfired on me and slated me for wasting time watching the shows. His message didn't have a 'friendly' tone. It was more a scathing remark telling me everything I was doing was wrong, and to NOT watch any TV until my publication work is done. Btw, he knew that I was waiting for my teacher to give a green light.

He wasn't even offering advice on the matter. He was ordering me that these things HAD to be done, I need to do THIS and THAT (like a bossy bottom)

I'm very angry and upset by the message he sent to me. It really ruined my mood.

Was I wrong? How should I deal with this? I'm not feeling so wonderful at the moment. I'm rather sad.

Guys, what should I do?
A) Give him a chance. Maybe he is having a bad day.
B) Ignore that idiot, and don't spoil your mood.
C) Stop being such a sensitive little girl.
D) Nobody cares. Be quiet. * +

He's been good to you all along and maybe he thought he still was being.i'd let this one slide or ask if everything is still ok,probably.im used to people telling me i waste my time watching rubbish lol * +
