A report out today makes that claim. Totally agree. There definitely used to be but it has been virtually eradicated in the UK. More progress still needs to be made but I do think this country Is generally racially tolerant * +

Don't you think the Rotherham Police's refusal to investigate brown Asian men r*ping white girls due to the fear of being called racist as an indication of institutional racism itself? * +

That's a fair point but I think we all know when the term institutional racism is used it's usually by the black fragility crowd. No one talks about racism against white people. * +

can a mostly white police force be guilty of racism against white girls ?
let's call this rhetorical, I'm not interested in anyone's replies. * +

It's also an indication that if authorities see race as something of significance when administering justice then it's likely that the existence of institutional racism is entrenched deep within the system.
As MLK said; injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. The existence of racism against white people likely means there is racism against people of color within the system too. * +

Institutionalised racism was always a term used as a go-to when no actual racism was found. Instead of saying no it's not racist. They would say it was institutionalised, nearly as good as the unconscious racism term * +
