We on a tiny island. Most of us are on the coast. Even if ya dont almost all of us have a mode of transport to take us across country. So who goes to the beach. Who dont go to the beach. Any happy childhood memories at the beach * +

I have several beaches all along here. St Combs is far my fav. Its just about this time of year we go wild swimming. Am so tempted to go today.
We used to go camping at the beach as kids. Mind fan tents were tents. Gathering up wood for the fire. Watching yer big brothers jump aff the pier (peeree) sand everywhere.
Beach days are the best days

I miss living near the sea ,last beach I was on was in Cornwall...I need to find some quiet beaches in Scotland ( that don't entail mountain climbing and B52 midges) to visit * +
