Im going to support a gig in aid of camp beagle i think.they are breeding puppies for toxicology tests.i cant be there myself but even if i could i dont think i have the stomach for it * +

unless a protest brings real pressure to bare inside the heads of the people it needs to protests don't really achieve anything.
minds are made up to follow a course of action for whatever reason, a certain amount of objection is factored in from the start.
if ''they'' feel it can be weathered out they'll carry on, if a protest grows in popular support and backs them into a corner only then will they reassess.
mainly thinking of the UK here, other vaguely democratic places may be similar. * +

no probably not, but the outrage was pretty much universal. news shows I watch from the state even covered the story. * +

yes, as a serving police officer, who abused his power. He was always going to have the book thrown at him with full force. They had to make an example of him, and rightly so ! * +
