What do you think folks,should you have to provide proof of who you are in order to access social media? * +

I don't believe you should. Also scammers would be able to get around it.
On the other hand aren't we all traceable anyway with our ISPN numbers?
We can be located to within a few feet via our mobile phones too. * +

E.g if I said something controversial and the cops turned up at the door how could they prove it was me that wrote the controversial thing? * +
